Fiona takes a holistic approach with her patients through her unique combination of Eastern and Western medicine. Her technique addresses the underlying, yet interconnected, symptoms on an emotional, physical, and psychological level. Fiona uses Acupuncture or Chiropractic treatment (or a combination of the two), and a variation of techniques to cater for the individual. She also offers dietary advice to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
Fiona has a strong interest in the treatment of sports and musculoskeletal injuries across all age groups, including children, as well as whole-of-body management of degenerative issues with older clients.

Fiona is one of the rare practitioners in Australia who is fully qualified in both Traditional Acupuncture & Chiropractic and Animal Chiropractic. For more than 20 years Dr Fiona Lewis has been treating people at a variety of different practices in both Sydney and the NSW Southern Highlands. She has gained a wealth of experience during those years in treating sports injuries, general health, stress, headaches, migraines, women’s health and spinal pain.

Qualifications

Fiona has studied extensively over the years and holds degrees in B AppSc (Acup), M Chiro, and Grad Dip Animal Chiro.

Fiona completed her Traditional Acupuncture training with a 4 year Science degree at Acupuncture Colleges Australia (affiliated with UTS), coupled with Advanced training at the International Training Centre in Guangzhou, China.

Her Chiropractic qualification was undertaken through a 5 year Master’s Degree at Macquarie University, Sydney.

Fiona also undertook a 2 year diploma course in Animal Chiropractic at RMIT University Melbourne

Continuing education every year which has included many sports injury seminars.
